Barragan (RB from Valencia) deal agreed, having medical today
Negredo deal agreed - season long loan
Subotic deal agreed - awaiting work permit

Not a bad day's work by Boro! :D

Reported in excess of 50m being offered for Stones from City. Not good enough for the England back four, barely good enough for Everton. A liability that has everyone on edge but supposedly worth 50m because he can pass the ball 12 yards and is English. An incredibly poor man's Rio Ferdinand.

If Everton want to save on taxi fare, if they pay over 50M I will piggy back him there! He plays like a 17 year old not someone who is 22. What would John Terry at 22 be worth in todays market!
You piggyback him, I'll carry his suitcases. Stones has potential, anyone who watches him can see that, but he is also prone to ridiculous mistakes. Now, a lot of that could've been down to Martinez as even players like Baines and Jagielka, normally very solid defenders, were making mistakes last season. However, if City want to pay £50m+ for a defender who is pretty much all potential, Everton would be mad not to sell.

I'm a bit gutted Subotic looks like he's going to Boro, I thought he would've been a great signing for us as a Stones replacement. Failing that, I'd love to see us go for someone like Marquinhos from PSG. He's an excellent CB who also has great potential, but I don't see PSG selling him cheap, and he's likely to move to a bigger club than Everton if he does leave.

Juventus have supposedly agreed terms with Higuain and are willing to meet his release clause. If that really is happening then it likely confirms Pogba is being sold, i can't see how they'd fund it otherwise especially as they don't usually spend big like this.

Edit - looking at their transfer records the most they've spent on a player in the past 15 years is £27m, they spent £44m on Buffon and £35m on Nedved and Thuram but that was way back in 2001.

It's being reported by DiMarzio who is really reliable for Manchester United transfers, not sure how reliable he is for teams like Juventus though.

Really hope Arsenal don't spend 80 odd million on Higuain, get Icardi in. Thought that Icardi was staying at Inter, looks like there's a few stumbling blocks about his contract though.

Kante to Chelsea is supposedly done, just the medical to go within 48 hours now.

€36m / £30m fee and 5 year contract so likely the bargain of the window.

Hope you have a decent physio for Subotic...made of biscuits that guy.

We've probably the finest on the planet, he's had years of experience keeping Woodgate's knees working way beyond the years they should have packed in. Keeping a biscuit in shape should be no bother :D

Unless they're paying the fee over a number of years, and are factoring in that they'll get a massive windfall when Pogba leaves next year. Also, how much cash is floating about from selling players recently/Vidal/Morata if that's happened already or will happen/etc.

None, they don't make any money from transfers, pretty much every year they spend more than they make from them including last year. This year so far including Benatia who they've signed today they've already spent ~€24m more than they've made.

I imagine most of their money will come from sponsorships and going deep in the CL each year.
