Intel 4600 vs 7300 GT

So my Gainward Phantom 570 in my spare computer has given up the ghost!

Until I switch to a 970 or something in that price range I have a Nvidia Galaxy 7300 GT (£25 purchase many years ago!) lying around. The computer is a 4770K so has a built in 4600. Which will be better (I know its not a cutting edge comparison and I wont be playing any games! - I have a 980 ti for that!).

If you already have the card, why not try both? I'd hedge my bets on the igpu being quicker though.

What should I test it with? Not looking for gaming performance tbh!

4600 Intel graphics isn't too bad, even played World of Warcraft on it for a bit when swapping cards.

If you're not gaming, then it makes sense to use the igp for less power consumption and noise.

Sounds good! Will pull the 7300 GT out after uninstalling the drivers!

Switched from the 7300 GT to 4600 today. That is a DVI-D input to the NEC 24WMGX3 to HDMI. The Intel colours were supremely washed out and actually Win 10 looked very difficult to read! Had to switch back to the green team. All is well again!

Isn't the 7300gt about 6600gt sorta level. I'm sure the Integrated graphics of today will murder it in every way.
