Dead Rising 4 - Possibly Leaked

Probably November.

Can't see ROTT doing that great on PS4, those that wanted to play it would have either got the X1 or PC version by now or if they only have a PS4 and like tomb raider style games would have certainly played UC4 - and with UC4 IMO being a much better game, most won't want to pay £40 etc for ROTT and therefore the timed exclusive deal hurt what chances that game had on PS4.

Be interesting to see if this title suffers the same fate. But its good news for PC owners getting a Steam version as well as Windows 10 store.

Heheh. I am waiting for the PS4 version and even then I have to wait a bit longer until it gets down to the £10-£20 range. :D

So DR4 is timed exclusive - 90 days its on Steam (early March) and a year its on PS4 (early December 2017)

Its good news for PC owners meaning they could be able to grab the game after 90 days on Steam as many prefer Steam over Windows 10 store.

Cause, I'd use both if I had to, if I really wanted to have the game 90 days early I'd personally have no issue buying on Windows 10 store. It seems MS are getting their house in order and are committing to Windows 10 store and live titles.

And with the idea you get both xbox and PC WMP titles if purchase digitally - well that seems a good idea to me, sadly digital prices are still a tad high.

One thing I should say getting it on Steam might still mean its a UWA

It will be interesting how third party exclusives work now the normal 'goes on Steam because its not a competitor' wont happen due to XO=win10store; presume some form of timed exclusivity if not more lost sales for MS to cover...

Could never get into DR with it's save system and the fact you couldn't (or at least I seemingly couldn't) save everyone and "100%" it.

Might have to try again if a remaster comes along at the right price.

Pretty sure you can save everyone. I know I got the achievement for saving over 50 survivors in one playthrough. You just had to know where everything was and obviously be very quick and not get distracted.

I'd love a remaster though. As long as the only thing they change is the graphics I'll be all over it. I still need to go back and get the 5 and 7 day survivor achievements, they're the only ones I have left.

It was quite easy when you knew how, I remember spending a lot of time twiddling my thumbs then all of a sudden had loads of survivors to go help.

I reckon there was at least one bottleneck where you would have to make a choice in who you left to die. Would have to consult a walkthrough to confirm.

So the DR1 remaster has been confirmed with also DR2 and OTR also having the same treatment - guess Capcom really needs that remaster money considering their current output.

TBH with Capcoms newer releases them raking up the past isnt a bad thing at all...

Panta Rhei? You mean Deep Down? Hasnt that become some F2P Asia-only release? Havent heard much about it for a year or so from the top of my head...

Reviews started to come in for this, Metacritic has it around 75% which is pretty par for the course when it comes to Dead Rising.

I love the series personally so sounds like it'll be much more of the same, sound by me :)

Any one got this yet? I've reserved it but debating whether to pick it up. I loved 1 and 2, hated 3 as it just felt like it went on and on and on

I'm hoping it's more like 1 again

My girlfriend has bought me this for Christmas, cannot wait to start playing, the thread on GAF makes it sound pretty damn good to be honest.
