Quick getaway ideas for this weekend?? (UK based)

Have a rare weekend off together with Mrs Lego. I'm looking to just jump in the car Friday night / Saturday morning and be at our destination within a couple of hours (We are in Cardiff)

Ideally looking for a little B&B / Hotel, that offers good beer and good food (Or somewhere local to it that does)

We both enjoy a good days walk, so somewhere where some trekking could be done would be a bonus.

Any ideas?

See if you can get a room at the felan Fach outside Brecon. It's food is great. Lovely walks a d only an hour from you.
