Happened twice in a row now on the automatic cycle. It gets to 57 (I think) minutes remaining and just sits there making a noise. If I open and close the door it appears to resume. I'll do some more testing tonight.

It's not even a year old, do ao.com do callouts within a year or would I have to go to Miele?

I'll take everything out tonight and clean it etc, see if that helps.

If it is near the end of the cycle making funny noises then I think its most likely to be the pump.

Easy to take that bit apart with some security hex bits and make sure nothing is blocking the impeller

It happened the other evening and then this morning I noticed it was making a pump type noise, odd as I put it on last night.

Is it accessed from inside? It's under a year old, surely I should be able to get an engineer to visit FOC? Don't want to do anything to invalidate the warranty.

Ye probably best to get someone out. AO are normally really good, give them a call to see how its going to work.

If you do fancy having a look then it is accessed from inside removing all the stuff on the floor of the dishwasher. Mesh thing/basket thing/ outer housing (torx bit) / should be able to get most stuff out at this point.

I'll clean everything out tonight without taking it apart and run it through a cycle with nothing in but a cleaner and see how that affects it, then ring up AO.

Was just a load of grease from the bbq that was clogging up the filters. Cleaned it all out and it's working like a peach again.
