Quite right, you were too busy playing Rafael instead :p

The day we played Rafael at centre midfield was the day we lost Pogba:/ he's not even a fantastic right back! Although not terrible, how did he earn a place in midfield.

If you are kamikaze enough to play Jones, Fellaini, etc in midfield then surely giving Pogba a game can't have been too much out of scope. Even a second half..

Yep, madness.

We've reportedly accepted a £13m bid for Wee Joe Allen from Stoke.

Always felt Allen got a lot of unfair stick and funnily enough it's only been under Klopp, who doesn't want him, that he's managed to change the views of a lot of our supporters.

edit: Should be said that it's not a done deal yet as Swansea want him too and he reportedly favours a return there than Stoke.

If he did stay, maybe he wouldn't be as good as he is today.

lol. i stilll don't think he's the answer to uniteds drab midfield. spending £100m on 3 or 4 midfielders would be a wiser investment. any pl club who spends galactics money is bonkers as there's no need to make such statements. we all know it's a league that a team like leicester can win

and on joe allen, i thought he faired pretty well at the euros tbh

Everyone's favourite bald journalist now in on it:

JUVENTUS are confident of concluding an agreement to sell Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a global-record transfer fee by the weekend.

The Italian champions have placed an asking price of €130million (£108.8m) on the head of the France midfielder, who – despite public statements to the contrary – have long planned to sell to finance an aggressive restructuring of their own squad.

As reported by Record Sport at the beginning of this month, Jose Mourinho has prioritised the recruitment of Pogba as a means of adding badly needed dynamism to his new club's midfield.

They were saying sissoko would be available for 20-30 million. Gotze for 20-30 million.
Drax per for 40 million.

The list does not start and stop with Pogba who offers not enough attacking wise and not enough defensively to do either job. France got into trouble as they were trying to play Pogba but had no idea what to do with him.

Just wait till January or next year, it's not like he's going to get any more expensive and no other clubs are going to buy him for this. Wait for juve to cave in and need finances to restructure and then swoop in.

130 million euros is simply madness.

The real question is, why do you care? If he works out, everyone will be happy.

If we were at financial risk by buying him then absolutely we shouldn't, but it's no problem at all.

draxler and gotze are not central midfielders. So Sissoko? Based on one good game for France? Ask Newcastle fans how he was last season.

He runs a bit when he feels like it. Definitely worth £30m.

you could've bought 10 wanyama's! think of the shirt sales. he's got more letters in his name than pogba for a start

it's not our place to come up with replacements just because we think the fee is bonkers, which it is. it is a true reflection of the tv revenue, movements in advertising since bale went for crazy money but bale now seems decent value and suarez seems a bargain.

can pogba live up to those two? if he's not going to bring you goals, what is he going to bring you? silly money imo for a player who isn't going to be a game changer.
