Pretty sure it's just posturing now to get us to pay the last £10m or so.

L'Equipe have it on their front page, Marca front page saying we've signed Pogba for €120m and also that Varane rejected us.

After his world class performances at Aston Villa, he managed to get himself on to the next stepping stone... Liverpool! Where he was so exceptional, he bagged himself a world record fee move to Real Madrid and went on to break the scoring records set at the club. This year, his French side dominated the Euro's and he lifted the trophy, adding the cherry to his record medal / trophy haul this season...

Oh wait, no... he is probably at home, naked, touching himself while looking in a mirror in a house made entirely of £50 notes.

A few seasons back, (I think) Baz mentioned that there was a rumour Liverpool were considering a move and I made a flippant comment about N'Zogbia using Liverpool as a stepping stone to his rightful place at Real/Barcelona.

If it was not absolutely clear, I find it amazing that N'Zogbia has managed to steal himself a living as a footballer, let alone have the ego where he considers himself good enough for a club such as Liverpool, let alone Real Madrid or Barcelona.

I was amazed that anyone in the Premier League wanted him and continue to do so.

I believe that originally came from Sports Witness last night, they then posted a clarification.

Clarification: For those misunderstanding... Meant it's quite possible Juve haven't spoken to Man United directly at all, but Raiola has been doing it all.

Edit - ah i missed the Bepe Marotta bit, it is 6am after all :p SW clarification on their comment is probably still relevant though.

The thing thats bizarre about this is that it was reported a week ago that ZZ had given Varane a new squad number (with a pic Varane wearing that number) and confirmation that he had rejected our offer.

Its actually been pretty quiet for a month or so on the Varane front, Im actually wondering how long ago he rejected us.

The amount we have signed Pogba for appears to change by the hour (and still even after a week or so, reports still vary between £23m - 46m euros as to how much we paid BD for Miki)

Should be tied up in the next day or so for him to join us out in America. There's still talk that Newcastle want Lucas but any deal will be done seperate to this. It will be interesting to see whether we move for another CM (presuming Dahoud's a no goer this window) should Lucas and Allen both leave.

Flanagan didn't travel with the squad to the US and there's talk that he could be off to Burnley on loan. There's been no talk of any incoming right back which would leave us with just Randall to cover Clyne :/

edit: Gomez can cover there too I suppose.
 
~£20m for the agent. They are like lawyers.......that cliched sketch of all people of the world holding hands skipping around the world, if none existed!
