Do any of the graphics card companies allow you to RMA a dead card directly to them, as I tend to upgrade / sell my card after 12 - 18 months, a transferable warranty is always a good reselling point.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
I believe Gigabyte do as long as you provide the original proof of purchase(copy of invoice).
EVGA - warranty is done off the serial number - 3 years from date of manufacture.
EVGA is the best for this, the warranty is on the product, from the date of registration or when it was made if it isnt registered.
Although that means you have to go nvidia, I believe Gigabyte is similar
Just read the EVGA site , they do not accept cards bought 2nd hand , which is a shame .
That's the advanced RMA where they send you out a card before you send them the faulty one.
They will still offer a standard UK RMA on cards bought second hand, this usually takes about a week to get a card back.
I believe EVGA now have a UK RMA returns centre. Sure someone will confirm this.

The Gigabyte rep also said something similar with their cards. The warranty is with the sticker on the GPU and not the original buyer, so if the sticker still has warranty, so does the GPU.
