I spent a good half hour trying to rescue that piston, someone at Honda needs a slap haha (or maybe I do for not looking at the service manual right away).

That would only work if the front lever operated a piston in the rear calliper, it'll be to stop rear wheel lock up but in a trail bike that's what you need!

Ah sorry I just assumed is was the same for the front brake, like on the VFRs and the super blackbird

It's arrived! :D

It's like putting your head in a very plush thing much nicer than my shark, although it should be considering it's over twice the price!

Nice! Every time I saw these, I thought they're some cheap brand for some reason (maybe the logo? :p). But after some googling, looks like they aren't bad helmets for the price! :D

Haha yeah their logo could definitely do with work but the helmet seems great 250g lighter than my shark, much nicer lining, better venting and they even give you a microfiber cloth and some visor lube! To keep the seal around the visor in good condition.

The double D ring is going to take some getting used to though.

nice lid mate :)

im no brand snob but i agree ive seen them before and always thought they were a cheap brand like the usual suspects.

did it come with the mirror visor or was it extra?

thinking about getting one for my Icon Variant, getting bored of dark tint.

enjoy :)

I've got D-Rings on my Shoei but definitely preferred the ratchet that I had on my Caberg before this. Can't say either was more comfy than the other but the ratchet is a whole lot less fiddly!

If, I don't put my helmet before my gloves, its fiddly and I'm usually the last to be ready to ride. But, without my gloves I'm getting faster at doing the D-Lock. Still hate it... it might be safer but I hate it! :(

BTW They'll send me spare parts for the helmet, looks fairly easy to swap them out. I'll see if that helps...

Apart from that, O oiled up my chain, checked tyre pressure and all the other checks I do every Friday. :)

I notice one cut on my tyre, not sure how deep it is... I think it might be from the last 2 sunny days as my bike is parked on stones in my garden.

It doesn't affect the tyre pressure, I can't see any bubbles on that cut either. It must be a small cut?

Don't wear your mirrored visor in Switzerland. The police don't like them here.

You'll be OK though, we're avoiding the nasty German side on our tour :p

They don't like anything it seems... its a miracle you can have an aftermarket exhaust. or is that banned too and you're being a naughty boy? :p

Shhh...

We have 3 regions (and 4 languages) in Switzerland:

German: Anything not explicitly allowed is banned (hence the visor and exhaust anal retentiveness)
French: Anything not explicitly banned is allowed
Italian: What rules?
