I always think its pretty cool in the special forces role as right now someone in Deutschland will be on the phone to an SAS man or squad to get some tactical advice.

Well it looks like they may be German nationalists. Thus far the only reports talking about motive seem to suggest they were ethnic Germans.

Why attack a mall though? I'd have thought a mosque or something would have made more sense. Breivik selected his target carefully, these guys seem to just be letting loose where they might kill the people (ethnic Germans) they are meant to care about.

Maybe they think they're not true Aryans though. Disturbing if it is multiple shooters, would look increasingly like an organised nazi group or something if that was the case.

No he blew up a government target and then shot a bunch of kids at a "workers youth leauge" camp a leftwing political organisation.

He explicitly targetted kids attending a political party camp because he wanted to kill the next generation of socialists. It wasn't random.
