Not at all everyone's allowed an opinion even if I disagree with it :D. Besides if my opinion isn't challenged how do I know (in my mind) it's the right one to keep?

No we're not but that also means anyone using a weapon for attack is going to have a lot more of the law brought down upon them. Personally I think it's a good idea, random people nearby are going to be much more willing to get involved and try to nullify a situation if there's less chance an offensive weapon is in play. I know personally if guns were legal there's bugger all chance I'd try and stop a fight.

You see that's the thing the only defense against a gun is a gun but what if we had no guns there wouldn't be a need for a gun to defend against a gun(if that makes sense).

As far as I'm aware short of body armor not much can stop a bullet. So really a gun isn't a defense against a gun it's more the case of I can defend myself if I kill you first.

At least with knives you can run away (or at least outrun your mate with you :D).

The other thing about knives is they're not long range weapons they're only really a threat if someone is in close (or a master knife thrower) if they're in close then you may be at a disadvantage but you still have a lot more chance of winning than if it were a gun from 5-10ft away.

Don't get me wrong I love guns. I enjoy clay shooting and have had the chance to try out a few pistols. They're a lot of fun but personally I believe they should stay as fun rather than a tool in everyday life.

She doesn't mention Muslim or allah ackbar anywhere in the call - the CNN news anchor does, but the woman on the call doesn't, weirdly enough - with all the eye witnesses, there are no other reports of anything Islamic being spoken.

Sky saying that Police have said three suspects on the run

My guess would be they all used pistols in numbers to maximize how many were killed as they knew not having access to assault rifles it seems they would not be effective enough. In a way it appears that they could not get hold of deadly arsenal but still managed to get hold of hand guns which was possibly easier to smuggle.

Scary thing is the same could happen here just look at all the pistols in gangs hands in Nottingham and Manchester, London etc.

In the new ISIS video which is on the Daily Mail it got a picture of Covent Garden threatening similar attack to Nice.

It's only a matter of time a similar incident happenes in the UK again. After all, the terrorism warnings have long been a matter of "when" not "if".
 
not sure if these are just Turkish looking bystanders or something (The Nice attacker did have accomplaces filiming etc..) but they're in cuffs for whatever reason:

I wish there was a way for the lot to be expelled. I've had enough now. They're offered shelter and safety and throw it back in our faces in the most appalling of ways. There should be no more help at all.
