Well they don't have pokemon appear on bases in the UK as it was acknowledged that doing so would attract unwanted visitors to break on to the premises. I can't vouch for Chinese bases though of course.

Except a lot of kids don't and we have a major obesity problem with children nowadays? So I'm all for something that gets them out and exercising

Yet no one playing the game actually cares what you think. So hey, none of it matters.

Best thing I saw was a whole family out, playing it together. Mum and dad getting quality time with their kids who are now at an age where they wouldn't normally be interested in doing so. I've never seen so many kids outside playing together, not since I was a kid anyway (those were good times, when it was practically your entire school year up on the park playing football and rounders.... Not a rose tinted pair of glasses in sight).

It's a generational thing: tried and don't like it? Move on. But on balance the game's not bad at all for what it has set out to achieve.

Was out shopping earlier, bought a few CDs, ended up by the Kö. It's a little stretch of water with a bridge over it with 4 pokestops right next to each other. Always lures on all 4. About 200 people sat around all playing Pokemon which I found quite amusing, got my phone out.

2 hours later I left :S
