Hot day, sunbathing in your underwear: acceptable?

Who are you to decide that it lacks class? Why do people have to judge other people? What is wrong with people walking around topless in this heat? Why does it bother you? I was wearing a t-shirt the other day and it was so hot I felt uncomfortable. I should have been sensible just taken it off.

I couldn't care less what anyone does as long as it's legal, not being mean and doesn't hurt anyone else.

During my break at work, I was sitting with two people who spent the whole time bitching about and judging other people. I had to get up and leave, hate being around people who are like that.

Why does it bother you that it bothers him? We are allowed to be bothered by whatever we choose to be bothered by. Why does it bother someone if another person thinks it lacks class to be sitting around in their underwear in public?

People seem just fine judging anyone who disagrees as a prude :o

It doesn't bother me and at no point did I say it did. I was just asking the question as I find it a strange way to think.

I don't understand why people look judge other people over such minor things. The world would be much better place if people were nicer to each other.

The ONLY except-able form of clothing when sun bathing :

Geez louise, what a bunch of grumpy old prudes we have here!! Get a grip FFS!

Does this also apply to the people for whom this really is the ONLY acceptable form of clothing for sun bathing?

I have never understood why bikinis and underwear are seen as different, if they're not transparent I don't see the problem, so long as the location is appropriate.

Same here, regular underwear covers up way more than bikinis but it's a huge deal for a woman to be seen in her bra

I'm more concerned that men still wear speedos at the beach in 2016.

Minor to you may not be minor to them. Just as many things in this world.

These days you might get stabbed to death because some nutter thinks your kids are too sexy, let alone sunbathing in your keks

After a family scare with skin cancer a few years ago, I don't sunbathe, underwear or otherwise.

As for what others do. if it's legal and not hurting anybody, I don't really give a damn. I happen to think sunbathing in skivvies is pretty lacking in style, but if that's what people want to do, why would they care what I think? I certainly don't care what others think of my choice of clothes, of shortage of them, in hot waether so why should others care what I tbink?

If this 'issue' is what some newspaper regards as content, maybe it needs a new editor.
