ASUS To Raise Prices In The UK By 9%

People shouldn't be so quick to panic, as long as the other manufacturers and suppliers put their prices up by about 9% then there's effectively no change. The Asus stuff will be as good as ever and it won't be priced at a premium
 
Overpriced and overrated and that's at current prices. Plenty of other options a bit like smartphones, there are more choices besides Apple. They do this because they know so many people are buying their products on credit. What's another £50 when you're spending someone else's money?! Very clever marketing, sell on emotion not hard performance figures. Even geeks are susceptible to it ;)

Cant tell if trolling or not? Zowie are one of the top brands for mice, with the best sensors in their equipment. Asus are...well you wont find a top gamer using an asus mouse lol.

I have never bought any of my PC stuff on credit...;)

Last time I got a loan was back in 2008 for a brand new motorbike (That is now a very rusty motorbike :mad: )
 
I'm confused. Why is Asus being singled out? Surely every vendor will raise their prices as a result of the weakened pound to maintain their profit margins. This goes without saying.

Or is this where we pretend Brexit has no effect on the price of goods?

Was talking about the mouse mat linked not mice themselves (I use a Zowie mat as well as mouse). I find it highly unlikely it is as good let alone better than my much cheaper mouse mat.

PR stunt to boost quarterly earnings?

"We're putting our prices up next quarter so the time to buy is now!"

It makes no sense to do these stories one by one. If the currency drops 10% ALL imports go up 10%. Maybe it's just a slow news day.
