Ordered my new car ;)

I hope you got a decent discount on list price and weren't one of those that think the list price is the price you pay and the bmw contribution is something your lucky to get :)

Not on the Sport.

A very unusual specification car. I'd be interested to know more about the decision involved in its purchase - it's a 'Sport', not an 'M Sport'.

Although the M Sport is about £2.5k more money it does come with some of those options as standard - for example - LED headlights. Also, there are bigger discounts of around £5500ish available on the M Sport, the discounts on the Sport are a bit smaller. So the price difference isn't huge.

Are LED headlights definitely standard on the 3 series M Sport now? I thought it was just the 330e. They're standard on the new 1 series M Sport, at the expense of dual zone climate, so logically you'd assume they are on the 3 series too. The reason I ask is because I found some LCI models a while ago that didn't have them (they had the new rear lights)...

It's the easiest car ever to buy, you just need to pick a colour as everything essential is standard fit on them :p

I'm really determined to get one with HUD, surround view and adaptive sus however I've only seen them in white white white oh and red.

I'm not ashamed to admit that moving from the 3 to the 6 the size increase caught me out on test drives!

It'll be the suspension thats causing you an issue then, the first two options are reasonably common but despite the motoring presses obsession with adaptive suspension very few UK BMW's are optioned with it.

Yeah it is. I've found it once or twice but they were white and gold. Sadly I just can't live with either of the colours. Seriously though...who the hell buys a gold car?!

WOW... What a nice way to put a downer on the OP's new car purchase.

Can't find anything overly negative in here

Nice car OP :) Agonising wait though isn't it?
Quite. This is OcUK Motors, not some single-marque car forum where we all A little too indepth backslap each other when purchasing a new car.

It's a discussion forum, where people give their opinions.

Genuine question - what sort of replies were you hoping for when you posted?
I was thinking the same. But as Gily said, the comments haven't been particularly offence at all. I have certainly seen worse over the years!

Perhaps OcUK Motors is becoming mellow with age. Or perhaps it's because OP bought a 320i and not a 320d :p
