It does not matter how much you moan now, move on, it is done. Accept it or burn yourself up but be clear, it's done no matter how much you seek to debate the 'yea but pioliticque' of how it should/could go if only.

I'm of the opinion that the public has spoken (Regardless of how I think they've been conned) but it isn't done at all. Nothing has officially happened, the referendum's not binding. There's nothing "done" about it.

Nope, just wondering when you're off to the EU. Anyone who wants to stay and who is legally entitled to is more than welcome as far as I'm concerned.

You on the other hand think there's no future here but think the EU is marvellous so it seems to make perfect sense to me that you'd want to move there.

No?

Thank you for your travel advice but I'm happy where I am. That said, I'd like the option to live elsewhere in Europe, yes, even if the reality of my circumstances otherwise prevents it.

Anyway, if we're down to "when are you leaving" insults, there's not much more to discuss at this time.

Of course nothing has officially happened, it's only been a few weeks but to my point, it's done and now it's just a process of leaving. The PM and her party have said so and based on the current political car crash she will be the PM for some time to come.

It's not done till we've invoked article 50.

Then everyone is happy right? On this occasion you haven't got your own way - that's life.

We've discussed plenty you just haven't liked the answers you got back, a bit like the referendum really, we can agree to disagree and see what happens.

It is done, this is just a box to tick and grasping at straws or restating process will not change that. Come back in 3 years and let's see if you or I am right and please, don't give me the "I am just stating it's not done until..." as that's not in dispute but doesn't change my point. :)

Why would I need to come back and state who's right?

It simply isn't done.
Given there's different scenarios, it's not done till its done.

I was listening to a (hilarious) LBC caller the other day who said he voted remain but should there be another referendum he would vote leave and tell all his friends to do the same. He was getting quite aggro and making the point about how remainers need to accept the result and make the most of the opportunity, not moan and try and ignore the result.

Too right!
I get the feeling some of the Remainers in this thread are hoping and praying for failure just so they can be right. Just weeks in and we've already seen them ceasing on anything even slightly negative, blowing it out of proportion and saying "seeeeeeee!"

Last PM said the same, same party as well. Based on that it's not over yet.
At least she's smart enough to give her some time to work things out first before doing anything.

So what would you like to do, debate why you think it won't be done? Sorry, I see that as a pointless waste of everyones time, you perhaps don't so fill your boots but you'll still end up where I am now. I don't need you stating facts, it adds nothing. I have been on this planet for over twice the time you have, so I base my view on the way things tend to work out in MY experience when you add all the bits up. You seem to want to dig into each element which is fine, as I say, fill you boots. But I assure you, you'll end up agreeing nothing as my point is proven.

But don't let me stop you.;)

Saying it's done is just far too simple, that's the long and short of it.

Well you could also say that Cornwall, Wales and the north who voted leave, leaves and all the other leave voters in other areas are kicked out into those bits and the rest of the U.K. Stays in the eu. How does that grab you? :p
