What have you done to your car today?

Trying to investigate a brake judder issue with my E90. It's pretty weird in that when braking (even lightly) from 50-60mph or lower it's fine. From 70mph I'll get a weird judder that feels like it's coming from the rear of the car but that may be my imagination. Can't feel anything through the brake pedal.

I know my wheel balancing is ok and suspension bits all seem to check out ok so it's got to be brake related. I changed my rear discs and pads not that long ago...no idea what the condition of the front disc/inner front pads are like though. Don't really want to go buying new discs/pads all round if it isn't going to sort it out though. Best get the suspension bits looked at properly first I suppose.

I'd check the tyres over (condition and pressure) and get the wheels re-balanced first. You might have lost a weight or something.

I love this car :D

Yeah I like it, though I'd hope it quietened right down at a steady speed

I even like the SE wheels coupled with "silly" exhaust combo, makes a change from a 2 litre diesel m sport

It is no different in volume to stock at idle, makes a slightly deeper and meaner sound at low RPM / low throttle and then makes a pleasant noise when using more throttle.

It's noisy as I'm foot to the floor revving it to 5-7k RPM. I think it's far better than the near silent stock exhaust.

You don't need to justify it to us, it's your car and your money so do as you please but I personally think loud pipes on a barge are an odd mix unless it's a sport variant already.

At least it isn't a tiny engine like a 318 :p
