BBC confirmed Higuain deal now so its done I assume. Seems like a bit of a mistake on Juventus' part if the Pogba deal isn't done. We could just turn around and drop the price by £20m knowing they have to recover a lot of money this window.

So far they have spent:

£76m - Higuain
£27m - Pjanic
£20m - Pjaca
£8m - Lemina

And recovered ~£30m through sales. Thats a net spend of over £100m. Thats a huge amount for a PL club let alone a club like Juventus.

We dont have to pay it all up front. All those transfers are paid over time including Higuain.

If United decide not to meet our demands then that is your loss not ours. We can afford to have both whether you believe it or not.

Don't kid yourself. Just like when Spurs signed all those players prior to Bale officially joining Real, it was clear the money was being spent knowing sale was happening.

THERE IS MOVEMENT FROM ARSENAL :D
Lyon have turned down a 35m offer for Lacazette :(
Hopefully this is just the beginning of the negotiating.

Anyone else here that Per is out for 5months or so? Definitely need a top CB signed now.

Lmao Wenger and Arsenal being the usual cheapskates lol. Of course Lyon won't sell him at that price, go closer to 50mill and they may sell. They don't need to sell him as it is and I don't think he wants to go himself.

Meh Wenger and Arsenal will never learn, long gone are this days when you could get a decent player at a cheap price.

Our owner could buy Manchester United twice if he wanted to. We are not short of money dont worry about it.

No, he couldn't. Just because you have a rich owner doesn't mean they want to plough money into the club. Juventus are all about balancing the books and have been for some time now.

Juventus are not a club that spend £76m on one player. They've done so for a reason.

We just did and Pogba is still a Juventus player with no agreement made to United yet.

As I said, stop kidding yourself. Lots of clubs have rich owners and they never put their hand in their pocket. Pogba's off and that's why you've spent this money.

Ye i agree he's most likely off but if he is not sold we can afford to keep both. Higuain is paid for already without a penny from the transfer of Pogba.

I don't really think Lacazette is the kind of player to lead the line for Arsenal. They basically just need a better Giroud.

Higuaín for £76m is ludicrous. Is he even that brilliant? He is 28 as well!

It is, at Real he didn't exactly set the world or league alight. That's not to say he wasn't good, he was decent in my eyes and I really felt that when Real wanted to sell him...we should have nabbed him.

It's just the last season gone in Italy he really took off, so 1 really good season out of 3 iirc isn't exactly worth that much money. But Napoli didn't have to sell him but he wanted to leave so Napoli inserted that stupidly high buy out clause, which Juve have now stumped up.

Personally I don't think he's worth anywhere close to 75mill, 50mill?? Probably but Napoli were in the driving seat so could get away with asking a ridiculous price.

Same with Pogba, no way on gods green earth is he worth anywhere close to 100mill. I wouldn't pay more than 50mill but if Utd want to spend that much then more fool them. I'll be secretly hoping he flops hard at Utd like Di Maria before who was a monumental flop.

He used to be a notorious bottler. Yes he hit 20 goals a season at Real but with the service he was getting he should have been getting 4/5 times as many, and that's not even exaggeration. For every goal he scored he fluffed another 5 easy finishes.
