Wow indeed, if we were in a road collision, guess who has to cough up for your dishonesty?
His insurer?
My SP50 adds precisely nothing to my premium.....
nor do the other two SP30s
The joys of being ancient and living in the middle of nowhere
They won't pay because his policy would be void. But I think your insurer may take him to court (if you have legal cover), who almost certainly will order him to pay the full cost of the damage.

So ancient you struggle to make out the speed limit signs, ya?![]()
Which if he's illegally insuring his car to avoid the cost, he won't have the money to pay my/my insurer costs anyway.
It's just as bad as not taking out insurance.
Now that everything is electronic with the licence points, over the years this should be eradicated hopefully.
Yea but data protection rules mean they won't have access to your licence details whenever they like. They still have to request them from people :/
We all have to play by the rules.. what makes you the exception?

Yes OP! everyone here is whiter then white, savours of man kind I call them.
Some people need to take their own heads out of their own arses.
If the OP had an accident and the insurance company found out about the endorsement it's possible they could have tried to recover the costs from him as the insurance is technically invalid (even though they're legally bound to cover the third party's costs).
Doubt many here are dumb enough to 'forget' an endorsement for two years and then go back to the insurerer and mention it at renewal.

The whole thing is just dumb.

A mate was lucky with his, they simply removed the difference from his claim payout (something like £50 for an SP30).
