I just dont agree with you in terms of his abilty. We dont need to establish anything. You dont think hes capable of more, i do..there isnt really much more to it tbh

Right. Ok. However, we have established the players history; that he has singularly failed to have a good season other than when the side were set up in a particular way and he played a particular role.

So... History teaches us that he only suits one particular style (as we have evidence of, and you agree with) and that he is 29, so not a young footballer quite the opposite.

So despite all the evidence, you still think he is capable of playing different roles effectively - despite the evidence that he absolutely cannot do that.

Nonsense.

Who wants a pogba cup? Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi etc yes... Pogba? Er...

This, don't get me wrong he looks to be a top draw player but he isn't the exciting sort that grabs the imagination of the casual fan! The money this summer has just gone bonkers and I really can't fathom Pogba being worth £100 million or the percentage his agent gets but that seems to be the nature of the beast!

It is because of the new television sponsorship coming in to effect, English Premier League clubs have a considerable amount more money to spend; the rest of the World knows ;).

Why accept £60,000,000 for a player now? You can ask for another £20/30'000'000.

I'm still in the camp of not wanting Pogba.

I don't think we're his first choice, he has a history of having a bit of an ego and I still don't think he's worth a record transfer fee, no matter how much United have. I'd be thinking somewhere around half what we're paying.

The whole thing reeks of the Di Maria debacle. I hope i'm proved wrong.

The way i look at it is that Real Madrid and Barcelona are practically every footballer's first choice these days, very few of them will ever play for them no matter how good they are.

For the benefit of Utd, so do I.

Im glad Im not the only one who thought / thinks his attitude /ego is rather too much given what (relatively) little he has achieved so far.

I honestly dont think thats true, but it does depend on where that particular footballer grew up (and in what time frame)

It wasnt that long ago where Barca were compartively not that successful.

If you are talking those who are literally just moving into the first team, so grew up with Pep at Barca and their ultra dominance for the most part then fair enough.

After Messi retires (and Ronaldo) , it will be interesting to see who is regularly fighting for the Baloon D'Or and what nationality they are, as the Internations may also come into play with up and coming stars keen to be at the same club.

I think you're wrong, simple as that fella. I don't agree he only works in one type of system, how many times do i have to say it, i think he has more to offer. What is this one particular style you're talking about by the way? I'd like to know how you classify it.

This is really more suited to the club thread, being about U21's on loan etc, but as its a transfer.....

Andreas Pereira has reportedly been told to go on loan so he can get regular 1st team football. Can see some benefit to this, but if JM wants two squads, one for EPL and one for Europe I personally dont see why Pereira wouldnt be in a decent position for the Europa where he is now (the rules for loans has changed since last year, so this might be a reason its not so beneficial)

Adnan Januzaj, James Wilson and Will Keane are also supposed to be shown the door, possibly on a more permanent basis

Unfortunately I really dont think we will miss any of these three, however good they looked a few years ago.

So you are ignoring the evidence we have over the course of his career , awesome. Two thumbs up.
