Wanna bet?
18% slower and £170+.
Btw, where are you pulling your numbers from? No problem if it's just speculation, we're all doing that. But I don't think I've missed any leaks as I've been scanning Google religiously for info![]()
I was factoring in overclocking, 100mhz on the core and a memory oc should take it to 480 perf.

Can we say... "overclockers dream"??? Too soon?![]()
Agreed, I don't see AMD fans walking into topics all the time and saying 'can we say 3.5gb??'Too repetitive.
Either way, hope we see some nice cards in the futurwe as the current ones are all a bit overpriced or waiting for the right performance in my mind.Agreed, I don't see AMD fans walking into topics all the time and saying 'can we say 3.5gb??'
Baffles me as to why the Nvidia fanboys are always so toxicEither way, hope we see some nice cards in the futurwe as the current ones are all a bit overpriced or waiting for the right performance in my mind.
), now only requires a couple posts suggesting AMD could be doing better. Which means many of us are now card-carrying nVidia fanboys, without even realising it! No wonder their market share is enormous.Kind to Nvidia or not, doesn't make overused toxicity less toxic does it?Criticism doesn't always equate to partisanship.
Check my post history and you'll find I haven't exactly been dishing out praise to nVidia either.
Both companies are under-delivering, or over-pricing. Take your pick.
Neither are giving a great deal for the consumer.
OK, actually, I am biased. Biased in favour of the consumer; the gamer; the end-user. I couldn't give a fig about nV's shareholder dividends or AMD's bumbling management.
But... it is easier to just call me a fanboy shill.
e: In fact it's amazing just how easy it is to get into the nVidia fanboy shill fraternity these days. What used to be an exclusive club, with members hand-picked (by Gregster), now only requires a couple posts suggesting AMD could be doing better. Which means many of us are now card-carrying nVidia fanboys, without even realising it! No wonder their market share is enormous.
I don't remember things being so bad in the 9700/9800 vs FX5800/FX5950 days. Maybe they were and my rose-tinted ways are too blinding.
Well now... do you remember the 9600SE or the 9800SE?
Possibly AMD's most deliberate attempt to mislead consumers.
I see AMD fans mocking/bashing Nvidia all the time on here, what are you talking about?Agreed, I don't see AMD fans walking into topics all the time and saying 'can we say 3.5gb??'

I am willing to bet that if AMD releases a really great card, for a very good price, a lot of people running Nvidia cards would buy one. Heck I'd get a FreeSync screen as well and I am pretty sure I am not alone in this one.
