Black Lives Matter protest in London and Nottingham

Scapegoating others for your own failures. Careful

maybe but where has that come from? being treated badly as a group in the past and then perception?

if there is nothing wrong why are black people protesting then? for the same reasons you state above?

Youre one of those people who always have a "smart" answer for everything arent you.

No i dont think its a conspiracy, and I dont its about black people not trying enough or not having the capacity or will to achieve so if it isnt racism what is it?

Any number if things, point is you're alleging racism with no evidence.

It is perfectly possible for there to be no racism at all and theses differences to emerge whether they be cultural, socioeconomic or even down to the diffeering abilities of the subset of black and Asian people we have in the UK. If there was systematic racism in our schools then would you not expect Asian kids to be held back too? It just seems like a lazy argument to highlight a difference then automatically assume 'racism'.

Why careful? Or was it mods who changed it to yellow and if so why

Badly in the past... Please explain what past?

They are protesting because they think they have a legitimate reason to do so when it would not withstand the most basic rational or reasonable scrutiny.

i didn't change it

so why are they protesting?

It's fashionable atm, surprised they haven't started a petition. Probably seeking attention as well.

Worst case, to be deliberately problematic. Agitators. Who will then turn round and scream 'SEE RACISM' the first time a police officer touches them.

i didn't change it

Please can you go back and address this post.

Let me explain my position to you.

I am a technical supervisor for a mechanical and electrical maintenance company, one of the largest in the world. This means that I get to explore all manner of buildings, from the little phone exchanges that BT own all the way up the buildings like the Shard, Gherkin, etc etc. I'm not talking about simply being in the lobby either, I have access to every single room in these buildings and go everywhere. The point I'm making is that I see it all. From the receptionists to the top dogs on the board of directors for firms that are in the FTSE 100.

There. Now that you know what I see on a daily basis, I can honestly, hand on heart, say that the opportunities are there for everyone. I see black, indian, muslim, male, female, every shape, colour, sex, you name it, in all levels of employment. These people have worked hard to get there.

That said, when you look at places like Angell Town, I can see why you'd think what you do. These people are so busy feeling sorry for themselves and blaming their misfortune on the cards that the world has dealt them that they are blind to the fact that they are living in a country where there are opportunities for everyone.

As for the stop and search stuff, operation trident, etc etc, all I will say is this: There's no smoke where there's no fire.

I started off as an uneducated idiot, a filthy forriner, earning peanuts delivering pizzas and now I manage a team of engineers looking after a half a billion pound building in one of the world's most influential cities.

So please, this whole "poor us" mentality needs to die. The only excuse for not making something of yourself in this country is laziness, bitterness, or disability.

If I had to list some of the hardships I've been through in life I can guarantee you it'd seriously put some perspective on this whole "racism" nonsense, and instead of blaming others and playing the victim card, I fought back and now do pretty damn well for myself.

And that right there is why this whole thing irritates me. This is simply the easy way out.

Explain to me how your views are different. I'm genuinely interested.

To the mods changing my comment about Entitlement complex... What's wrong with me saying that??? Its a clinically recognised condition

according to the group black lives matter uk racism

EDIT: And we've gone full circle again. Back to square one, you still haven't answered the question despite numerous people asking you to, instead answering with "because someone said so lol".

Is that as far as your mental capabilities go, or are you simply looking for attention?

indeed! the whole generation is a moany, entitled bunch of prats!

just look at feminism and the way it has been twisted where original point is completely out the window.

BLM is another one of those, rather than targeting the actual issues as to why black teens get shot by police they just riot the streets and protest by laying on the road.

what is uk government supposed to do about police shooting gansters/criminals in US?

literally 0 relation.

I'd get it if army/police were walking around and killing every black person, that'd make sense.

but this? Cmon.
