Because of the B6 price point I would be amazed if the E6 got much below £4K and even at that price it still isn't £1300 better than the 950, if your going to wait I can see the B6 being £3.2-3.5k by Black Friday which is a great price
 
The B6 seems to be the same thing as the E6 more or less, but no 3D and a couple of other minor differences?

3D doesn't interest me, so I can see that being a better bet if the price is cheaper.
 
Very good price, this set looked awesome when I was weighing up my options 6 months or so ago.

If this had been that price then, i'd have certainly bought it.

Was in a store today,the Samsung 4K Quantum Dot display look absolutely stunning,Really amazing how far TVs have come and considering what you get i dont think they are actually that bad priced at all.
 
I'm still hovering over the buy button. I've been waiting a while now for them to drop in price, ideally I was hoping to get one for £2k, but that might be optimistic for some time yet.

Are these likely to drop much lower or just run out of stock?

let me get my crystal ball out :p

if you like the price it is now, they buy it or risk losing out. things do tend to get cheaper if you wait but then you could wait some more and then some more and before you know it 6 years have passed.

buy whenever you think it merits a purchase.

I think it more likely they will go out of stock at that price

What did your crystal ball say? :D

I'm 50/50 on buy it now or wait longer. I'm not sure how much my 60" LG plasma is worth, could get back a few hundred notes from that.

I have been tempted to pick up a good LCD set but the high end ones are more than this 950V!

That's the other thing that's making me hold back, lots of issues with them on AVF, the newer range are meant to be well improved. But it will still be a massive upgrade from my 3 year old LG plasma.

I didnt have any problems with my 960(curved version of the 950) I only sold it because I upgrade every year, it's a huge upgrade on your plasma TBH it blows the pioneers out of the water and they were superior to your lg
 
Instantly probably. I've seen old Pioneer plasmas and the blacks are much better then my LG, I've seen OLED running in lots of shops, haven't yet seen one in a dark room though.
