Case and cable colour advise, help me choose...

Hi all what colour case and custom braided cables should I get to go with my setup?

Everything is RGB but I mainly have it blue.

Current setup...

I'm getting this case in either black and silver or all black. What do you prefer for my setup?

The case with the silver accents I think will look really nice, for cables you could go for white/silver/blue. I would say white mostly on the cables and then a few blue and silver accents.

Also consider painting the chipset heat-sink on your motherboard and turning off the red lighting in the bios if you want it to look consistent.

Edit: I think the silver would really compliment the silver accents on your desk (legs, monitor stand,amp dail etc)

another vote for the silver/black case, just looks nicer than all black

although for the cables i would go blue and silver/grey
Not sure one where to sources them though as the places i checked a while back were too expensive so didnt seem worth it - you could always DIY though

Also very nice setup, clean and works really well.. where did you get those speaker stands from? i put mine on a shelf above the desk but never thought of doing it how you have

The stands are diy, the risers are kitchen counter risers from ikea and the tops are custom size kitchen draw fronts.

id go with the blue/white now that ive seen them if your going to have blue LEDs in the case

if not then id be tempted to go black/white to match the components

Yeah it's mainly blue but that could change. Really not sure. For full custom colours it's way too much money so I'm stuck with off the shelf stuff.

theres still the diy route.. you can pick any colours you want then and save loads

just take time + patience

you use your existing cables - better off searching google for a guide and have a good read up on it.

You can do either way, both have their pros/cons. I would only suggest doing it if you have a lot of time to invest into it

as for your other posts on cable suggestions:
I think you need to consider weather you want blue to be an accent colour or a main colour in your setup. It could look nice with mostly white cables with a few blue/silver stripes

Cablemod have a good tool on their website which allows you to completely configure custom cables. Otherwise in my opinion the white cables that you have should look really good.

As for best cables I haven't got any good suggestions but I am sure somebody will be able to point you in the right direction

I think white/black/silver (grey ish) would look great, I made these up for my mate as a leaving the country present.

Thanks, yeah with white I know it will go with my whole setup and any colour lighting I choose. I've currently only got a few extensions so fancied getting a full proper set to compliment the new case and gpu.
