*** The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Thread ***

Buymobiles.net seem to have some pricing up (only seems to be EE) for a new contract. Doesn't seem particularly good value at the moment, do we think the prices will come down once more people start putting their offers live?
 
There is something going on. When I was at cpw few days ago they had all prices up but 2 days later they said that Samsung pulled everything out and they change them every day now. Vodafone said they will have everything up on the 16th. Don't think the prices will go down for the first 3 months. We know handset is £700 so expect to pay no less than the current contracts of s7 edge.

I just had the same text through too. Not checked on the CPW website as yet to see what is up there. Won't be calling as still not had the funds through from my shares sale...grrrrrrr. May be waiting until next month at this rate

EDIT:- Just checked CPW web page and it is still the 'Get the Update' webpage on there.

As an owner of a gear vr I wouldn't let the prospect of a "free" vr influence me into buying early and paying lots, the Note is a premium phone but I wont buy until it's around the 550 mark still £120 more than I paid for my much loved s6 a couple of months after release.

Samsung Mobile President Koh Dong-jin was asked about the rumored Galaxy Note7 with upgraded memory - 6GB RAM and 128GB storage - and he shed light on the matter.

The tricked out version is initially targeting China, where Koh says local makers are offering stiff competition with phones with high-capacity storage out of the box.

“We will accept diverse opinions from various regions and also consider whether that move will disappoint Korean consumers,” he added.
