Januzaj has joined Sunderland on loan. Best thing for him really, prove either way whether he's worth keeping or not one last time.

He needs to grow up a little imo, so hopefully this will do him good.

At least its practically gaurenteed that Moyes will give him a decent chance to impress at the very least

Fully expect them to get Fellaini by deadline day.

Praying for this to happen, Im just not sure if its likely. Far more (imo) that Mata will end up going instead.

Well another day in the life of being a frustrated Arsenal fan. Wenger has gone on record today in the pre match press conference today that he is only looking to add a CB to the squad.

So no forward or striker. So fellow Arsenal supporters, get ready for another season of Le donkey aka Giroud missing sitters, disappearing halfway through the season but making the special appearance to score goals to make sure we end up in the top 4.

I truly hope we don't get top 4 this season and hope that by failing to do so wenger finally decides to call it a day.

Can't say I'm surprised by his comments today but meh see what happens on Sunday and the rest of the season. But can't say I'll be going out of my way to watch any games on tv or even go to the games itself.

Do you think he could be lying though? Perhaps it's red herring, who knows.

Go watch some lower league football instead, it's good fun to watch as well.

Nah, I think Mourinho wants to keep him for another season at least unless a really good offer comes in for him. By that I mean an offer of actual money and not just the guarantee that he will no longer make United fans despair whenever he is on the teamsheet.

I would be amazed if we didn't sell Mata for at least twice that. Anyone care to take the middle ground? I'm not convinced we are selling him at all honestly. Its not like we have a firm grip on our first XI and we need players like Mata if we get injuries.

Apart from that, he can still be a superb player in the right team.

Depends where he was sold to, if in England i wouldn't be surprised at £30m in the current market. Back to Spain or somewhere else £20m.

If we can sell Mata to anyone for more than 10 million, I'd be surprised.

I don't see him going anywhere in this window, too many games to leave ourselves short on numbers.

Also today Mourinho has named checked Mata as a reason of letting Januzaj go out on loan, also the interview with BT Sport this week, he listed his No 10options (Mhki, Mata, Herrera and Rooney maybe).

He'll get plenty of game time, just needs to be patient.

I would say Fellaini, Rojo, Young and Jones are closer to the door at this moment.

This is what my first thought was that he said it to deflect, in case there is a player we are interested in and we don't want to gazumped by another team.

I still have a slight hope that we do sign a striker or forward in the end.

Mourinho's pet dog listed him as a player that Mourinho has put up for sale.

Castles? For somebody so informed he's quite hit and miss.

He has also listed Blind as for sale, but he's played more game time in the pre-season than anyone else excluding Bailey. If he doesn't want him, why play him and not Jones or Rojo.

Personally, I think its more significant that he brought Mata on when we were searching for a goal on Sunday rather than bringing Mhkitaryan on.

The uncertainty of Rooney's performances and position, would have me keeping Mata as he's a much better no 10 in my opinion.

Exactly, you've got to keep your cards close to your chest, especially Arsenal. If there was a 80m bid for a top top striker, any of the richer teams could come in a nab him. Some of these top strikers don't come about very often.

I think if an £80m striker was on the cards, his agent would pimping him out across Europe.

I just think Wenger sees Arsenal's money like it's his own or he honestly believes he has enough quality in his squad.
