Hi, I recently picked up the KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070 "Reference Blower" on offer at £359.99.
Have had a few initial issues and would appreciate any help.
Initially, I could not boot into Windows with the card in to install the drivers.
I got round this by using the onboard graphics, booting into Windows and then installing the drivers that way.
I then upgrade my mobo bios and installed the latest drivers.
Seemed to have a few issues with it not booting into Windows as the card was trying to display a resolution which my TV could not display, but since the above, this seems to have resolved.
However, when I boot into Bios, the screen does not display correctly, meaning it becomes very difficult to navigate.
I also have/had an issue where certain (but not all) games would crash shortly after or on launch. A bit of investigation led to a list of things to try and I found that setting the power mode to High Performance seems to resolve this issue.
I haven't had any crashes in any games since doing this.
My question is, does this seem right, or is there something I should be investigating here. Seems odd that some games ran fine and the card runs cool and quiet, so nothing amiss with the card or my PC as far as I can tell.
