For all those business speak hates

:p

People using the word dumb when they mean stupid, more commonly used in America though the easily influenced use it then bang on about how they don't like Americanisms ;)

As for the folk who don't like the word Bae, take a look at the Urban Dictionary for its proper meaning :D I ruined a couple of people who used that word!

"Bae," Urban Dictionary says, is an acronym that stands for "before anyone else," or a shortened version of baby or babe, another word for sweetie, and, mostly unrelated, poop in Danish.

Hear, their, everyware ;)
Adding 'Wild' to camping/swimming. It's not 'Wild Camping' and 'Wild Swimming' it's just 'Camping' and 'Swimming'. Same with the 'Gaming Chair' ********.

I also hate 'Social Media' as a term. It's not 'Social Media' it's just the ****ing Internet and sites on it.

Anyhoo

I love the Urban Dictionary definition:

Used by many people, usually mentally retarded, as a means of saying 'anywho, or anyhow'.

:p

Although saying that, I dislike those two words too. It's 'anyway' ffs!

Adding the word 'wild' to camping is used primarily to differentiate between your regular camping in camp sites or designated camping areas. It is really true or 'wild' if you like camping. Perhaps camping in campsites etc should have a prefix instead, eg sanitized or pretend camping and leave the word camping on its own to denote what is commonly called wild camping.

Don't get that one

Maybe that's what they meant, see you later in the week. 'See you later' does not specify a time frame - why do you think they specifically mean they will see you later that day?!

/agreed

I don't mind "social networking" e.g. Facebook, Myspace, Faceparty etc.

"Social media" and "Web 2.0" brings me the ræg

Like you said, it should be just called The Internet or World Wide Web :) But sadly, the average 13 y/o user won't know what the World Wide Web is. All it means to them is Tindr, Grindr, Tumblr (and various other web sites that misses out an 'e') and Pokemon Go :(

Do you enjoy stretching the envelope or thinking outside the box? Are you deep diving and drilling down but also raising the bar? Do you circle back to add value, ensuring customer-centric snynergies are operationalised?

So let's open the kimono and get off the burning platform because at the end of the day it is what is is. We'll take it offline, reach out to stakeholders, grab any low hanging fruit we can, and utilise our thought leaders going forward in a more proactive, co-coupling way.

People who make Pacific points.

Kind regards - I don't know why, but instantly the last email I'm going to deal with.

At the end of every conversation with a manager "Is that alright?"

People at work who you 'ise' words unnecessarily when briefing the rest of us.

"OK we should socialise this matter"

Even worse is when they make up words by sticking an 'ise' on the end of something when they shouldn't!

"we should motivise staff"

Wut?
