Are these prices of a secondhamd fiesta ST & focus ST about right ?

People are buying new Fiesta STs for about 16.5k now so I'd say that's over the top. I guess your location doesn't help.

The focus seems overpriced too me, I was surprised when I was looking at the value of my wife's mk 3 focus st 62 plate and the going rate looks to be about 10 grand (I thought it might be worth 15).

Over here the fiesta ST3 spec it has comes to over 20k brand new....

Don't seem to get the deals over here like I seen people talk about in the fiesta ST thread on here (There only doing a deal on the really basic spec one)

There no other ones for sale over here to compare the price to

I been interested in buying a fiesta ST or a focus ST and I have come across these 2 for sale local to me

Fiesta ST3 2015 1,400miles £14995 (Private sale)
Focus ST3 2013 15,000miles £15995 (link http://www.trustfordguernsey.co.uk/used-cars/1398/ford-focus/ )

But I have no idea if these prices are about the going rate or well over the top

You can always try and negotiate the price.

A new Fiesta ST3 can be bought for below £17k.

The RRP will always be high.

Look at car brokers who have negotiated prices far lower than that from various dealers.

Check how easy it is to import a car from the UK. Those prices seem extortionate. £19,745 is the on the road price (covers road tax, registration etc.) in the UK and we pay VAT at 20%.

On drive the deal.

The problem is if there are any costs of importing that car into Guernsey.

Also that PCP deal probably isn't available to someone in Guernsey, so cash price is the more relevant one (add £700).

Also I know years ago some are main dealer garages over here were refusing to work on or service cars or motorbikes that have been imported..

But I don't know if this still happens..

It wouldn't be that easy if the car did broke down ;)

Use an independent then if they don't want your business for repairs.

It isn't like they would be honouring warranties in the first place.

It is also pretty rare for a car to be undriveable.

That Fiesta ST seems to be the only one for sale (that I can find) so you're kinda snookered.
And that focus ST is also the only second hand one forsale over here....(apart from an old 06 kev up one)
The ford dealer has a brand new white focus ST in the show room for a little over 25k...

And the ford dealer also have a brand new black focus that has ST line badges on the side of the front wings...But it not an ST
Edit: See this link https://www.carwow.co.uk/news/what-is-ford-st-line-trim-2959
