I'll borrow them from AW, he clearly doesn't use them.

Part of me is annoyed about the 23.5/25/27/30 million euros situation, and then another part of me is amazed that AW is even offering that sort of money for a defender.

I don't know who our "record" defender signing is/was but I'm guessing they don't come close to 30 million - I just hope it comes off, and soon.

Doesn't mean he isn't a complete idiot and was pretty much the sole reason they didn't win the Euros.

His tactics and subs in the final were appalling and completely wrong. He had managed to make some really bad subs earlier in the competition as well but somehow got away with it.

Sole reason they lost final? You must be having a laugh. Is it because Pogba didn't show up for the final?

Why? Its less than they first offered if you believe figures also apparently we rejected this one as the add ons are ones that may never come off e.g. win the league, qualify for champions league,win cups etc.

Palace fans are even laughing at the offer so says it all
 
Baffling if we let go of Darmian. Mind you we have one right back at the club and we choose to play a **** winger there instead so it wouldn't surprise me if he wants to leave.
 
Is Darmian really that bad?

I'll admit to not having seen him play a great deal, but I don't remember thinking he was awful - maybe not anything special, didn't stand out for me, but I'd take that from a right back.
 
I thought he was pretty useless tbf. He must have started the season well because a few people on here were raving about him but whenever I saw him I thought he was pretty poor.

I don't think anyone will be willing to pay 25m+ but I do agree on the add ons though, but we don't know how reasonable they were.
 
Liverpool won't recoup £32m, they greatly overpaid for Benteke and now want other teams too. They should have accepted Palaces original offer, now he'll rot in reserves whilst paying his wages and have to sell him for <£15m next summer.
