Older car. Black plastic parts, such as the side skirts and door handles are not black anymore. Need some paint that's not expensive and can simply be sprayed on... without having to worry about priming or laquering. Anyone got anything? Cheers.

Halfords sell plastic primer and plastic paint in spray cans. But to do a good job I'd recommend removing the trim, lightly sanding it, priming it and then spraying. I did something similar on some parts of my Corrado and the results were fantastic. But it will look slightly gloss/satin rather than matt of course.

Another vote for C4. Don't respray when you can fix the existing. It's not the cheapest product but much easier than spraying.

Watch some videos to see what it can do.

Plasticare is another trim Dye alternative. None of them are going to make things look brand spanking new again but they'll do a very good job of making the trim look more evenly black again

They all work well, just take care to apply evenly and to mask off / be particularly careful near any actual paint

Another vote for treating the plastic and another vote for Plasticare Trim dye. I have had 3-4 years out of it though grey is starting to show through again now.

Next door neighbour did this on an old Corsa he got from a family member for £300, looked like new when he'd finished!

In my experience plastidip isn't that durable on plastics.

I used the Halfords plastic spray on the M5's corner bumper plastics - they're like new now, and it was easy to do. Generally, I'd try and spray it if the plastics are easy to remove, but if they're somewhere more difficult to remove (especially without damage (e.g. side strips on the E39)) I'd look into the dyes/treatments.
