MLB games are great, granted, I've not got The Show 16 (my last MLB was 14) but if you want a baseball game then The Show is the way to go. The Home Run Derby is a good laugh online, too.

O_o

Were there 3 types of swings in 15? I love the last swing in 16, usually get many home runs with it.

Cannot remember, aside from that I didn't have a clue about the rules and despite trying to learn I gave up pathetically lol.

It's not meant to be easy to hit the ball. In real life, players only hit it about 30% of the time.

this - it's knowing when to swing and when not to. Not played since The Show 11/12 i think but it was a superb game back then and can imagine it's still just as good now.

I don't like watching baseball but have always wanted to give this a try. It's 60% off on the PS Store so I thought why not?

I've just been playing the home run challenge and it's good fun. I think I'm going to start off in the career mode.

Thanks for the tip i never went for it in the end may have a look now then!

It's a good game, i've bought the game since 2012 and can't see myself not getting it. Probably put a good 500+ hours into it easily, probably much more.

Ended up picking the game up in the sales, love it, although I get too twitchy when batting, need to stop swinging at everything. Had to play game 7 last night, Cubs won 4-3 and 8-7 IRL.

If anyone fancies a game, feel free to add me - blitzben85

Do you guys all follow the sport or was the game your main introduction?

Always fancied playing a baseball game so picked up 15', don't really support a team although I did have more of an interest this season as I went to watch the Yankees/Red Sox in September.

Still undecided on a team to follow and I'm finding it hard not to "support" the Cubs thanks to their recent play-off success. I really could do with picking an east coast team due to the time difference, west coast would be too much of an effort with most games at am. Which team do you follow ?

Makes sense mate!

Dont follow it at all :O not really in to sports but always hear how good this series is said to be so really the main point in making this thread a while back was to find out if its worth giving it a go to potentially find a sport to follow abd a bit of a different game to play :D

I've just played that Cubs v Indians game 9 and won 11-0. I was actually 10-0 up after the first innings. I must be doing something right. Either that or the game setting was on very easy.

What's the best game mode for single player (vs computer)? I tried the career game but it obviously only lets you bat and field with a single player.

Will add you blitzben85. Others, feel free to add me - fozzybear1902 (PSN)
