Knowing what you know now. Would you purchase the title again at the current RRP?

For the most part I have really enjoyed this game. However, I feel as though the variation is starting to dwindle.... Feels strange saying that. I mean there are so many other galaxies and planets I've yet to visit.

I paid 40£ for this. Imo this is a 20 pound game. So to answer my own question. No. I wouldn't purchase this again.

What are your thoughts?

Mine came with a bundle, bundle was same price as buying the console alone ,so the game was free.

As the game stands right now I wouldn't pay for it, No.

I'm only really holding on to it in the hope that some gameplay depth comes along via patches/free dlc

Yeah 25£ seems much more reasonable. It's an okay game... Just fall way below what I had expected.

Within the first 10 hours of the game I'd completely say yes it's worth full price, now I'm about 50 hours in seen and done it all really, I'd agree with everyone else that £25 - £30 is a better price point, with that in mind I've spent £40 on games that I've completed within 5 hours.

Simply put, no.

I don't think the game is bad I just find it hard to think of a reason to play it.

The real kicker for me is the fact that it feels like the game is only a few "tweaks"* away from being amazing.

*I am talking along the lines of waypoints and FV changes on console.

I would, I've thoroughly enjoyed the game, maxed it now and will continue to drop in regularly making my way to the center.

I've got a lot worse value for money out of a full-price title that's for sure.

FOV is restricted for performance reasons. I am hoping they push out an enhanced version for Neo, longer LOD ranges, wider FOV, and the annoying suit warnings and UI black bar stuff fixed.

I probably got about 30-40 hours out of it, which is quite a lot for me these days. Like the above after 10 hours or so I loved it to bits but burnt out towards the end.

Luckily I managed to trade it in for £40 so I got a lot of game time for £6. I might buy it again later if they add more updates and the price comes down to £20 or less. I'd be gutted if I paid full price digital.

Simple answer then is no, I wouldn't pay full price for it again :)

NMS is far from perfect but I have enjoyed the time I have played so far and even if I stopped now the £ per hour cost would be low. I still haven't finished everything I want to do like upgrade the slots on my ship, build all the upgrades etc so I have many hours yet to enjoy. Once that is done then I will focus on my journey to the centre which I can see wont be so interesting or must play but it will still be a nice relaxing counter balance to playing fps'.

So tl;dr yes I would buy again.

Certainly would buy it again. Great game but as stated before it's not for everyone.

See my issue is that is has fallen well below what was promised. It isn't a bad game.... It just didn't meet the expectations given to me.

I got a bit caught up in the hype and considered briefly buying a PS4 for this game. Having seen the ending I don't think I'd by it if it ends up coming out for the Xbox one.

I can think of many games that I paid full retail price that have disappointed me.

But yeah this game is more like a £30 game at most in its current state.

No I would not buy it again not at full price anyway.... the game needs more depth, it has huge potential just in its current state its lacking.
