Will a Dual Graphics card (hd 7990) work with a montherboard what doesn't support crossfire or SLI ? as i assume the driver will manage the crossfire through the one PCI-E 16 slot?

the obvious and only answer i can come to is yes.

how pointless would it be if the gpu needed another pcie slot to send info to and for it to get lost once it gets there?

if i am wrong i think my brain wiring must be messed up because i cant fathom how this wouldnt be the case.

i didnt mean it to be harsh

the question is good because the boards dotn state they can xfire or sli but if the cards are not seperate from each other then it should be fine and tbh should be stated in the description.
