The PIN on boot can be disabled by changing lock screen security to swipe. You can set up PIN security again, just say no to PIN on boot.

I had the same issue as above, it rebooted and said installing, then it hadn't actually updated. Just unenrolled and enrolled again and downloaded.. again!

I'm on it now, but decided to just wipe my phone and get the update after that. Worked first time. It didn't pull down all my apps like it's supposed to, but it grabbed about 75% off them. Boot times are around 50% from before, but the phone seems to be a bit more stuttery...

My build number is NRD90M

I'm on now. Same build number as above.

First impressions are good. It feels a lot lot quicker. Instant reply is good. Multi tasking is cool.

Will see how battery usage is tomorrow.

What happens of you unenroll from the beta after 7 has installed? Does it try to put you back to MM?

No, because when you in un-enroll it rolls you back to the last stable release and since this is a stable release and not a beta you stick with it.

Has anyone here had a Samsung Note 5 & a 6p? I'm very tempted to try one as I'm a little bored of my Note, it's multitasking handling and with 7.0 just being released it seemed perhaps a good chance to give it a go.

Am I likely to be disappointed?

Ok under N I seem to have no real issues. App screen draws are quicker, scrolling feels a great deal smoother and general performance is good.

I haven't had a chance to monitor battery life just yet and will do over the weekend. On Reddit there are a lot of posts stating battery life and SoT is a lot worse - wouldn't be too surprised with this though until a few updates iron out bugs.

My original Type-C to Type-C cable died.

Anyone knows where to get a good quality one without having to rob a bank?

A braided one would be cool because I love the look.

Generally had good experiences with Anker cables, they are not braided though. Charging cables can be a bit of a minefield many of the good looking ones have smaller gauge cable and don't charge as fast
