So i have this 280X Toxic That my friend gave me, it was working "perfectly" fine with a dodgy third fan that would vibrate and not run at full speed, but no issues with any software, just have to deal with roughly 65C Load, fast forward say 2 Weeks, I am having MAJOR Issues with it, I can play not demanding games easily on it, such as lethal league and Team Fortress 2, but about 3 Minutes of gameplay in F1 2015 Or Battlefield 4 And my driver will crash, recover and crash the games, or it will not recover and I sit at a blue screen (Monitor has a blue background when it has no signal, I would assume it has a signal but no data is being sent) Temps are all good 60C Under load with 100% Fans (Because who cares about noise :D) Card is not overclocked at all, will get an F1 Error and return with an edit :)

EDIT : I tried to get the error log from F1 2015, but my driver crashed and DIDN'T recover, with the third light on the 280X Flashing very quickly ( The one directly above the crossfire bridge on a Toxic. )

See if you can monitor what the cards doing with gpu-z and get to see the results after a crash, Check temps, maybe disconnect third fan and manually turn the others up high when on a heavy gaming load, Slightly downclock it too if needed.

Already done, temps dont get other 70C, after a crash its just like a normal driver crash where it stops reading through GPU-Z.

Do you have any overclocks on the CPU? Not impossible to be related.

Nope, but a new revelation, I tore the card down and repasted it, but now at 85C Load with a perfect paste but it works now! 100% Load fine for multiple hours.

Best results for this use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. And if you are out of warranty and brave use CLU.

Also replace the VRM pads with Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8.
(unfortunately better pads costs a lot like the Fujipoly Ultra Extreme which is difficult to find in UK).

That's good news, I'd keep temps monitored for a few weeks though and just check how it did at the end of each gaming session, Other than that have fun.
