50 year old here who remembers when Pong was new and exciting, first console was a Fairchild so you can say I've been around the block somewhat
Treated myself to a £2k PC build earlier this year and my most played game is the 192 hours I have in Factorio since May, a game that would run on a Potato and cost all of £15. I've all but given up on triple A gaming these days and 90% of my time is spent in indie and left-field stuff.
Also playing Human Revolution (yes, the old one) and about to try Subnautica.

- playing Rimworld loads at the moment
) My audio-spatial awareness is really good, from years of listening for footsteps on CS, and if i knock something over I generally can catch it before it hits the floor. I'd much rather play a game than watch TV - more for my brain to do, which, in older age, will help us loads I think.
