What are people's thoughts on the burkini ban in France?

Putting aside the issue of what this thread is about, Arazi -
? You're advocating women's rights by dictating what they can and can't wear. That is a completely nonsensical argument.

You should just quit while you're behind on this one, before you make yourself look even more silly.

That simple is it.

You are around the fifth one to come out with an insult, can we have some mods views, i've been called a racist, a bigot and now thick, or can i reply to posters with similar derogatory terms?

Should also add female genital mutilation is banned. Which suggests the entire law as it stands has been arrived at after much consideration.

They are also valid words which can be used. Not automatically insults.

You cant be offended that someone says you have bigoted views when you are arguing against what people can or cant wear purely because of their religion.

Either you put forward something that shows your view is rational i.e opting to ban all people on the beach that are covering all of the person except the eyes nose and mouth based on "insert reason here" or you accept its rational for someone to see your view as bigoted.

It is not about the item worn it is about the reason behind the item being worn, how hard is that to understand?

I don't need to integrate.

End thread, it is all my fault.

For making a big deal about what is basically nothing with no rational argument?

Yes people like you are a problem to a cohesive society. Many people in the world today follow a religion, deal with it. Let me know when your rights are being infringed upon and then action can be taken.

it's clothes i don't care,

People need to be tolerant whilst preaching tolerance integration is a two way road.

I don't see the problem with burkinis. There's no harm.

This. I've recently been on the beach see men and women in underwear. Not bikinis or swim shorts, just underwear. In my opinion that shouldn't be allowed. But nobody kicks off about that do they.

It's a matter of trust.

All Muslims have lost trust of their neighbours, due to the actions of the few. And the inactions of the many.

Instead of trying to upset the local populations why don't they stage huge protests against Isis and the terrorists and spend their energy working with their neighbours instead of taking actions which are perceived to be against them?

But in terms of female genital mutiliation, when are they going to crack down on male mutilation, I.e circumcision which is practised in other religions?

Who created ISIS though, you look at any war torn conflict and show me one that doesn't have an armed resistance group as a result. It was an illegal war, are you suprised that ISIS rose from the ashes?
