Southampton finally confirm they've broken their transfer record for Boufal. No idea if he's any good, here's hoping he's the next Messi because we'll need that sort of quality to turn around the mess Puel has created already.

I think southampton will be alright, even if they dont excel like the last few seasons.

I'm not feeling confident so far, draw against 10 man Watford and Sunderland, easy loss to Man Utd that we beat last season. We've got 2 points from games that last season should have netted us a safe 6 or 7.

Looks like Chambers is going from Arsenal to Boro on loan. Not really sure about this, our RB position is crowded and from what I understand he's questionable at CB

Despite talk of us bidding for Pulisic, it looks like the only business well be doing in the final days of the window will be outgoings. First in line is Luis Alberto who looks set to join Lazio for £4.3m+ bonus' and (like a lot of our outgoings these days) a hefty sell-on clause. Balotelli, Markovic, Illori and Wisdom are all likely to leave in the next couple of days too.

Looks like Joe Hart is off to Italy. Quite pleased about that, wish more British players took a chance abroad. Definitely more interesting than him going somewhere like Sunderland.

sick note is available on loan http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-to-allow-jack-wilshere-to-leave-club-on-loan

i'd take him at spurs if we only paid him when he was fit to play which probably be 3 times

Lmao what makes you think he would even consider playing for you lot?? Seriously?? Lol.

He's probably one of the most outspoken of Arsenal players to publically say he hates you lot. Remember his chant when we won the FA cup the other season??

But surprising that we would let him go on loan, but then equally a good thing as he will get more playing time hopefully. Not really sure what to make of this in all honesty.

Sounds a bit of a smoke screen if you ask me. Only two days before the transfer windows closes and now he is allowed to go on a season long loan

Although this is Arsenal and the transfer market we are talking about, does not make a lot of sense at the best of times :p

If this is true, it's crazy..he's such a talented player, he just can't get proper match fit. He'd be such an decent player for Arsenal if he was fit for 40 odd games a season. He just can't seem to get going though

Yeah, Spain would be perfect.

Some team like Sevilla, Villarreal or Valencia would be perfect for him i reckon.

I see some places saying that we have put in a 30m bid for Luan. Cause, like...one thing that we are certainly short on and definitely a weak position..is attacking midfielders.

Its actually really annoying me now. Everyone on the planet knows we need a left back. The left back situation has already cost us points this season and will cost us more yet.

Valencia are reportedly tight on FFP currently even after the sale to Arsenal , not sure how bad this is (or even if its true), but doubt they would be able to contribute much to wages if it were a loan.

Why are we letting Serge Gnabry go to Bayern Munich and keeping tosh like Ox and Theo in the side. They have offered absolutely nothing in the games so far. Gnabry is a huge talent. Another moment of delusion from the old fool.

I've said time and time again, Klopp isn't just going to sign anybody. He's made it clear that if he can't get the exact player(s) he wants then he'll make do with what he's got.

Wenger in general doesn't bring through Arsenal kids, he'll buy a teenager who is ready that day to go in the team(in his opinion, even if they actually aren't good at the time like Walcott/Ox) but a guy who joins at 16yrs who he thinks needs 3-4 years, they basically never make it.

Coquelin would be gone had we not had injuries, he was down to near the end of his contract, being loaned out and like Gnabry, got a handful of starts while not being deemed good enough to the degree that we brought Flamini back to be okay but nothing at all special while Arteta was bad as a DM.

Unless you're ready for first team games straight away and cost over 5mil, I wouldn't move to Arsenal as a youth player, complete fluke if you'll get a chance or not. Bellerin was being ignored completely with 28mil spent on first team players for his position, had they not been injured bellerin would likely be out on loan or rotting in the reserves.

Gnabry's had the customary good preseason, 1-2 league starts, couple CL/cup games, then ignored completely. Even if Wenger told him he would start him more after this long would you in Gnabry's position trust Wenger at all?
