Gnabry has done nothing for Arsenal though, he'll just be another Joel Campbell if he gets a few appearances off the back of a decent tournament. Afaik he wasn't even injured last season at West Brom yet he couldn't get in the team.

Looks like Chambers is going from Arsenal to Boro on loan. Not really sure about this, our RB position is crowded and from what I understand he's questionable at CB

He's too slow and positionally awful at RB. At CB he's all over the place positionally too. In both positions his decision making is pretty bad. Get's loads of yellow cards too. Championship level player in my opinion, has shown no signs of progressing at all. We paid 16 mil for him lol.

Gnabry had a couple of decent games for us but I don't think he's good enough to cut it at this level. Campbell on the other hand, what the actual ****. Our second best wide player behind Sanchez.

sick note is available on loan http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-to-allow-jack-wilshere-to-leave-club-on-loan

i'd take him at spurs if we only paid him when he was fit to play which probably be 3 times

Don't get sending him out on loan at all. He's great at driving with the ball from deep and can play a proper pass too. Should be rotated with Xhaka, Cazorla and Coquelin.

Why are people saying Gnabry has done nothing for Arsenal, Campbell had 'done nothing for Arsenal' right up till injuries forced Wenger to play him, when he instantly showed he was a mile behind Ox, walcott, Ramsey/Cazorla when they play wide, etc.

Unless the player has you know, played, of course he's done nothing. The thing is after Campbell was finally played and he showed his quality, the question wasn't had he done anything for Arsenal before then, it's could Wenger then and now not see how much better than Walcott he is.

ALso look at the list of players we've 'brought through' and list as making us top. For one it includes Niles, a guy no one ever heard of, Akpom and Gnabry, who that is the point, they haven't got any kind of chance at all with us and would appear one is on loan again and the other is on his way out. Chesney... ignored for Almunia for years despite being better, finally given a shot, not good enough, replaced finally after years of problems with goalkeepers.

Gibbs, he played due to injury, and rarely plays due to injury, also when he's not injured, he's not actually any good.

Bellerin had 30mil spent on players because Wenger didn't have any faith in him, didn't get a look in till a month later both of those were out for months, before that he was looking to move due to being unhappy with getting zero chances by then. Coquelin, was on loan, Wenger bought Arteta and then brought Flamini back because he didn't have any faith in Coquelin. Last year of contract and being pushed out, again but for injury he'd have been gone.

That leaves Iwobi, genuine talent but considering the level he came into the team at because of, you guessed it, injuries, he should have been getting games before. Campbell, same story, zero chances before injuries forced Wenger's hand.

Wilshere I think is the single player on the entire list who actually got put into the team ahead of others and not due to injuries. That is precisely the point, one, we have one of the largest academies and largest squads in the league.... most of these kids get used only when injuries occur and despite how well they play get benched as soon as people are back. Campbell is miles better than Walcott and Ox, there is zero comparison, yet he's gone out on loan and only played because of injuries.

Akpom won't make it at arsenal, neither will Niles, or Gnabry, Campbell, and honestly, Iwobi might well not either.

Numbers means nothing, how the players are used and if they become genuinely trusted players in the squad. Southampton have brought through loads of players they don't just play in an emergency and don't move on for next to nothing and loaned out constantly, but guys that either get bought for big bucks, or stay part of the first team as genuinely competitive players for years.

Put this way, adjust the rather pointless 1/10+ appearance thing for 5/40+ appearances and Arsenal will drop like a stone. The guys Wenger plays in a final CL group game if we've qualified or 4 minute at the end of a game where we are 4-0 up against Hull or something is meaningless in determining how effectively youth players are being used. Spurs actually trust their youngsters, use them in rotation not just desperation, some aren't good enough but unless you give them trust and time you don't actually know. Hence Campbell never getting a chance, you can assume he's not good enough or realise Wenger has his favourites and everyone else gets ignored unless injuries or the rare time Wenger deems a game pointless.

I've said time and time again, Klopp isn't just going to sign anybody. He's made it clear that if he can't get the exact player(s) he wants then he'll make do with what he's got.

Well thats the wrong attitude to have in my opinion. A club that expects to win things cannot simply refuse to buy a second choice player (who is still better than what you have in that position) just because the first choice player isnt available. Its idiotic. There must be someone available, in the entire world of football, that Klopp rates as a left back. I've said time and time again, the defence (LB in particular) is going to cost us this season, I wonder then how refusing to buy a LB because its not the specific one you want will be looked upon come the season end

Whats going on with Sahko then.......

If you believe the tabloids..he has been told that the only way he will play football this year is if he leaves.

I guess that either means he has fallen down the pecking order or that there has been a catastrophic collapse in his relationship with the club/Klopp.

To prove his fitness and professionalism apparently, fair enough.

Was an issue with Rodgers who got a good bit of abuse for taking issue with it.

What's happening with Sakho at L'pool as well? that's taken a huge twist, something really odd has happened behind the scenes there, no idea what though

and we've ended our interest in zaha as palace wanted £18m

uh oh as much as part of me is kind of glad this has fallen through, we're now lacking in depth

Southampton supposedly in talks with Sebastian Haller, young French goal machine playing in the Dutch league. I suspect he could be the next big flop out of the Eredivisie.

if he went on loan which I don't want him to then let him go Italy or spain

Seems like Roma are interested in taking Wilshere on loan, it's just a case of his wages of 90k a week which Arsenal may help out there.

Think it would do him a world of good to go on loan, as long as he stays fit and gets game time over in Italy.

Well hes on Teesside for a season, lets see what AK can do with him.
