This is my first GPU that has died ever! Card was never OC either.

Was just surfing web this morning then Poof....PC shut off. I tried many things and wouldn't have even thought my new GPU would be the issue. The min I took out GPU PC booted fine, put card back in and nothing.

How do I go about this? Do I send it back to OCUK?

I'd say contact OCUK

Is the GPU within 28 days old? If so I would send it back to OcUK, you are eligible for a full refund or brand new replacement. Same goes for any product bought from any retailer within 28 days.

yes ocuk can be really fast with new gpus that are faulty.

i had one doa before and was 5 days in total for sending it back to recieving a replacement.cant do much better than that.

It's just slightly over 28 days. It's still a new card and want a replacement ASAP. The thing that really ticks me off was I waited nearly 2 months since May 27th to even receive my card and now I have to wait again :(

I feel your pain having gone through 3 x GTX 980 Ti's last summer with OCUK. 1 of them I had to wait several weeks to get a replacement the other 2 they swapped straight away with no hassle. The MSI replacement has been flawless for a year now.

OCUK were not the hold up Inno3D were which is why I would never buy any of their products again. Being expected to wait for it to be shipped back to far east asia just because it failed a few days outside the 28 days full refund window is not good customer service for a £600+ GPU IMO :( all failed in the same area as well behind the backplate where the heat gathers.........

Intel graphics. The card has no power when plug in. It would power up even if it wasn't in the mobo slot, but theirs nothing.

Another slot tested just in case then? i've had mine just shut off before and the cause luckily was a faulty PCIE slot. Not sure if a GPU knows if its connected to a pcie slot or not so i wouldn't rule it out.

Suprised it didnt go with a big bang if its the card.

I was just browsing the net and poof PC shot down. Took card out PC boots up again. Tried to power GPU with PSU cables and nothing.

Same with me was watching a film and poof shut itself down. And no it wouldn't boot either took it a few attempts to realise I had another card in SLI for it to boot successfully. All appeared as if the card were dead until I tried it in another slot.

Not saying it isn't the card, may well be but just ensure its not the slot either.

No I didn't test another card, but did try to power up card out side the case and still didn't work.

Another thing I just realised is I forgot to put RMA number on package? I think I was just mad and OCUK sent me the DPD return details so just sent it without RMA number on box. I'm sure it'll be fine I'll need to call them tomorrow. I do have the DPD receipt for the return. It also has my return address on box.
