Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S

Picked up my new Tabpro S on Saturday. Amazing piece of kit and I love it, but the standby battery drain is shocking. This is the first time I've had a Windows 10 tablet, and from what I can gather they are all equally bad in this regard.

Up to now I've been using my iPad Air and the standby battery drain is zero. Only thing is I hate Apple products and never really use it.

Does anyone know how I can remedy this?

By battery drain do you mean that when you use it, it drains a lot or do you mean it seem to drain much quicker when it is idle as well.

I mean when it's in standby mode with the screen off.

Been using the tabpro S for a little over a month now. I have the same problem out of the box

Well, i dont think you can compare it to other mobile devices since its OS is hardly cut down from the desktop version, its sleep mode is pretty lacklustre. What sort of battery drain do you get?

I've resorted to put it into hibernate every time I turn the monitor off. Minimal battery drain that way which solves my problem for now.

Will set mine to hibernate as well. Did you get the pen for your tabpro S?
