Some people just don't like others "beating them" in traffic, even if it has no affect on them. It's frustrating and sometimes dangerous.

The woman in my office is one of them, I've worked here for about 18 months and only found out the other day that she's a filter hater.

Might as well have declared she liked Hitlers policies at the same time.

I genuinely worry about you.

I'm just a random from the internet to you.

You guys must have have had a similar situation, that was scary. But because it was smooth and the bike didn't try to throw me out like I was about to high side it was pretty satisfying too. :)

You're drifting a restricted SV!!?? You must have gunned it for all it was worth!

I had an unrestricted SV with a few less teeth on the front sprocket and never had any issues

:D

I just don't understand why people become so combative in traffic, usually totally against their character.

I've had a few people try road rage me (when I've been in my car), one guy jumped out at some lights and ran up to my car (middle aged thin guy in a suit.) He started ranting, then looked scared. I'm 6'2" and over 15 stone. He then accused me of "not letting him go", he shook my hand(??) then ran back to his car.

A few weeks back a white van man held his horn down as I was exiting a junction into slow moving traffic (<5 mph), I went into the other lane and was right next to him, so shouted something like "what the **** are you doing??". He refused to even look at me as I glared at him, just stared straight ahead, then he took the first right he came to :D.

On the bike I don't even react, I just simply leave them in my mirrors.

Echo all of the above re driving this week, so much so that I got hit on Tuesday on my way home.
Filtering round a roundabout a guy side-swiped me, somehow I managed to stay upright and luckily he collided with my crash bars. Tiny scuff on the fairing but otherwise no damage to the bike and most importantly the crash bars stopped him breaking my leg. His car was a bit of a state though! :D

I normally just shake my head or give them them a "WTF was that!?" hand gesture as I shift past them.

You're right though it's rare they'll even acknowledge your presence when they realise they messed up, which to be honest annoys me even more than the fact they've just tried to kill me.

You're a fellow biker. If you don't yet understand what that means, you will do one day.

What's worrying is not that one post, but almost every post you make here. Enjoy riding, but look after yourself.

That was one of the reasons I got hyped about the bikes, was the community. But since I started riding here, I totally forgot about that.

When I was younger, my granddad took me to a biker event that was hosted where they took me for holiday. They've pictures of my reactions (never got around to doing copies of them! :( ). Everyone came together, here people get into the little groups and its not the same.

Although, the local group I'm a part of... most guys are really friendly and are open for a chat and give you tips instead of taking the Pee. :) Before I met them, I always preferred to ride solo after couple group rides, as I felt like I was a 5th wheel to the wagon.

Edit
I nodded at 20 bikes yesterday, only 3-4 returned the nod... Same with Brighton Burn Up, so many people and bikes. Yet the event was so dead...

I'm a really calm person, quiet and never got in trouble. But as soon, as you put me in front of a wheel or handlebars I'm a totally different person. That's why I will never get a 1000cc, as I'll most likely kill myself and I'm being serious about that statement...

+1. IC3 I seriously hope you're exagerating in a lot of your posts...

I thought at first my rear tyre is just giving up grip, when I'm about to scrape the peg the rear does twitch a bit. SV suspension <3

My bike makes a squeaky sound when I push it forward or move very slowly from an angle to straight, what's up with it? :p

Probably your brakes. Use some brake cleaner on them and next time you go to change the pads put some grease on the pin and some copper grease on the back of the pads.

If it's not that then it might be your sprockets. Check your chain tension and make sure your chain is lubed.

My friend, she told me about it drifting/slipping. :p

I can barley keep up with her, she's not slow. :D

It'll only do this once and you'll panic and close the throttle, bye bye IC3!

Going back maybe 5 weeks now, maybe longer, someone had a response from him saying he needed time, no word since then.

I know, he also mentioned me to stop searching info about him. :p

BTW A ZX6R shock appeared for 70, hmm...
