New Corsair HD and SP RGB fans, who has bought them?

so Ive been waiting for these fans since clocking them at computex 2016

There are 2 versions, one with and without the controller which is an extra £10 on ze price.

But before I make ze purchase does anyone know what happens if I buy the RGB fans without the controller?

So if I connect the fans what colour will it be ect?

anyone with hands on experience with these new fans?
 
No USB or Corsair link integration, limited lighting control, and worse cooling/noise ratio than the new ML fans makes these a hard sell imo. If you want Chrismas tree lighting for your case I would recommend the NZXT Hue instead.
