Has anyone had bend issues with the iPhone 6S Plus?

Hey all,

So with the news of the iPhone 7 I've been thinking on what model to pre order.

To be honest ever since the 6 came out I've always fancied the Plus model but the original bend gate fiasco really put me off. I wear pretty slim clothes so I thought if it would happen to anyone it would happen to me.

Now that the 7 Plus has been announced I really want to pick one up but I thought i would ask first if anyone had any issues with the newer strong 6S Plus?

Any experience/stories would be appreciated.

Didn't have a problem with the 6 Plus and I've not had a problem with the 6S Plus. My jeans are pretty damn tight at times! The whole bending issue was massively over-exaggerated.

They secretly fixed it on the 6S but didn't shout about it. My first 6 plus lasted 2 weeks before it needed replacing, bent in my pocket so much you could see under the glass between the frame.

Bend gate ended up being a load of tosh. It was never an issue. Just got blown out of proportion by the media taking the mick.

Similar to people moaning about the 2.5mm jack going, when you get friggin' new lightning earphones, AND an adapter for the cry babies...

I returned my 6 plus for replacement as it was bent but my 6s plus has been fine. Incidents have occurred in the past but I wouldn't worry about it now.

I've had a 6 plus since launch and haven't had any issues. It's hasn't exactly been well treated either having been dropped numerous times and kept in my jeans pockets.

There never was a 2.5mm hack, I assume you mean the 3.5mm jack?

I don't know if I had bendgate or it came apart because it was dropped but apple just did an instant swap out for me.

Current issues with my 6 plus, I actually have to bend the phone to get it work. Apparently theres been loads of issues with them (Touch ic) Im out of warranty, been holding out for the 7

6 plus - not s - bending will be dealt with out of warranty I think? I had a couple of my 6 plus' swapped due to bending. Not had an issue with the 6S+.

My 6s+ is fine. My gf's 6+ was not and bent despite being in a handbag and never really under stress, so I think it was an issue for some.

Do you mean touch disease? That was mentioned a lot in the news a few weeks ago.

no bend gate here, but my 6s plus developed a pre click of the home button so it had travel before it made the press.

Drove me nuts but out of all the iphone's I've had this is only the 2nd with any issue. Now rocking an SE and loving it.
