I have been resisting levelling up my factions with motes in the last 2-3 weeks although I have spent a few once they hit around 2,000.

I have given up trying to edge my vanguard as patrol missions / Heroic strikes give you a decent amount in a relatively short space of time.

The Mrs has something like 1,400 motes. No doubt she will out level me by Friday despite not having run KF once...

EDIT: I should say I am not prepping per se (not checking how close I am getting on factions etc ) but I am banking all of the consumables (motes, glimmer thingies) pre ROI launch.

I really only have Heavy, around 1k stashed. Apparently the new DO shotgun is hella OP (same stats at matador) so gonna be dumping it into that. New Crucible meta is super heavy on shotguns, new game mode is much better as a shotgunner. Hopefully I get a decent one in 10 goes haha, I still have 500 SC left but I will save that for now and see what else comes up.

Also agreed, blind raid needs to be sorted out, maybe 7pm on Friday? Should gives us 5hours~ too see how far we get.

Hopefully we should get a boost from just mission rewards and engrams as I am terrible at "edging" my factions... although I have just a few materials to spend on rank ups... (2,200 Weapon parts, 3,300 armour mats, 900+ motes, ~450 heavy weapon synths and ~ 175,000 in glimmer consumables...). No doubt this is a tiny amount compared to what some people have..

Mark - I can be on tonight if you want to run through a NF / CoE.

I can ask the Mrs to join as I will be running on my hunter (being OHK in the NF is always fun....).

Holy jebus how much gear!! I have 17k glimmer and 100 wep parts, i really do suck at getting the consumables xD

Well yeah cool ill get on ill just politely kick mrs off tv and hope it works!

DO Shotty is on my list of purchases. Been using my CT-D**k in Mayhem a bit and really liking the style of gameplay. I am much better at it on the xbone though thanks to the Elite controller (jump is mapped to a paddle on the reverse). I am getting better though. :) Also if I am not tired my sniping is on point :p

EDIT: I spent way to long at the weekend getting all my Yr1 weapons onto page 1 of the vault. I then went through all of my Yr 2 weapons/armour and unlocked those which can be used as mark fuel. Should have enough spare marks to get a couple pieces of armour / fill any gaps.

Welp, too slow. I think I probably will buy this Moe, I've come this far I may as well finish the content before Destiny 2 drops. I might delete my Warlock though and just roll with a Titan, time is more restricted these days. Would you be able to help me complete my moments of triumph for year 2 this week?

So Clan functionality is now back online and hopefully revamped into something far more useful.

I notice our founder hasn't played at all since Taken King went live (somebody called Zhokel) and one admin (G23 mr gimp) time for a revamp and a tidy up of inactive members ?

I'm really liking the look of the clan function now they've brought it into the game and I can actually see who is online and what they are doing. It should make sourcing OcUKers much easier.
