Android tablet recommendations

Wife is looking for a new tablet.
Requirements would be:
Android
10.1" (or there about - not looking for as small as 8" and not as big as 12")
Budget - £250 to a maximum of £300
Really looking for new over "previously enjoyed".

She is currently using an almost 3yr old Galaxy Tab Pro S 10.1 which she's very much enjoyed using.
Recommendations greatly appreciated.
 
If you're looking to replace it because of a knackered battery it's worth having a go at replacing it. I've replaced the battery in both a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 and it's easy.

Although she has reported that the battery "isn't like it used to be" she's also saying it has become really slow and unresponsive at times.
We've done a couple of resetting to factory and getting her all setup again and once more it just doesn't feel as quick as it did - frustratingly so or else I don't think she'd be considering a new tablet.
