Here's the situation...

Neighbor a couple of doors down (Who I do not know) is having a very loud party.

(IE, I can hear the music clearly inside my own house despite all the windows being closed. This is not a row of terrace houses either. They are probably well over 100M away)

Now, I am not a killjoy, A Saturday night party is not a problem (as long as it doesn't go on all night) and from here it sounds like fun.

But, in the absence of an invitation I feel that, under the circumstances, a dignified crash is perfectly reasonable behavior (IE Turn up with some booze and announce yourself as a local neighborhood crasher)

What say you??

:p :p :p

I probably will not tonight because I do have things to do tomorrow that would be compromised by going to a party, But the general question still stands. :)

Make sure you post "party at my house *insert his address here*" on Facebook then turn up with beer and a couple of hundred new "friends" with hilarious consequences

Update.

Party appears to have spilled out onto road.

(Perhaps one that i would not have wanted to go to after all :( )

Two car horns in quick succession just 30 seconds ago.

Perhaps calling the Police might not be such a bad idea after all! :(

If I hear another car horn (Or a "Whump"!) I might just call it in!

:/

You're lucky it's just a random party! Someone has somehow managed to open a small bar/club across the road from me and I have to put up with that rubbish for half of the week. It's only been open a month and we've had to call the police twice because of the fighting that goes on.

Last week I was sat at my window and witnessed a mass brawl with chairs flying about and a man getting ran over by a bus trying to escape it all. The bus man thought '**** this' and drove straight off. :o All this was made worse by the fact that Beyoncé - Halo was blasting out with full bass in the background. It was too much.

Second update

All is now quiet

I got there in the end. Spellcheck is ****e :(

Clearly the hosts had a 23:00 deadline. (Which is fine :) )

But for a moment I was seriously concerned that somebody was going to get run over .

(This is a residential road, but also a B category through one, What I heard earlier were clearly near misses )

(There is still a little bit of shouty going on, but nothing to worry about :p )

Where do you draw the line?
We live in a quiet terraced street and there's a student moving-in party next door. They're being super loud and it's annoying but I wouldn't call the police because hey, I used to be a student too :p

Stuck my head out the window (top-floor flat) and saw the neighbour and he said he called the police. He's really chilled so I was surprised, but then this is a quiet residential street, not a student halls of residence..

I've seen two police cars drive past but neither managed to find the address :p

Is Buzz Killington a dick or does he have a point? We can hear everything with the windows closed and he's 2 doors down..
