The following is meant as no disrespect to anyone involved in or affected by recent and past atrocities, but what I've always wondered is why is it always bombs?
Given the difficulty of making a bomb, the risk of alerting the authorities during the acquisition of its parts, and sometimes (in this particular case) the low causalities caused it just seems like a weird choice.
I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to making a bomb. But for example chucking a load of washing up liquid from a bridge onto the M25 during rush hour I could do tomorrow and I'm pretty sure it would cause more than 29 casualties plus a whole heep of chaos. And good luck tracing who in the world bought loads of washing up liquid.
And like why are airports always targeted. They're one of the most secure, watched and security-staffed places I can think of yet by no means the most crowded.
I guess we should be pleased that they all seem to be so stupid.

Honestly, almost everyone I know or speak to about the election is worried about the choices. No one is really comfortable with either for various reasons.

Well for start if it wasn't reported on you'd have half the internet up in arms with quotes like "OMG THE MEDIA ARE HIDING EVERYTHING FROM US, THE GOVERNMENT ARE TURNING US INTO SHEEPLE11!!!1!!!!!"

The drivel still goes on - and you are aware it goes on - but the less attention is given to those who post it, the less validated they will feel.
I really don't see the point in posting a thread for every incident. The thread direction is always the same. The same people post the same crap with the same undertone/agenda and it's getting tedious.

It already happens you see people talking about things the BBC or whoever haven't reported on so obviously it means the media has an agenda to push and they're shaping the news they report to push it.
I'm not agreeing with that weird and wonderful outlook on the world that someone is always up to something.
I actually agree with you, less airtime given to them, less "terror" generated and less reason for the terrorists to carry on because people are taking less notice of their agendas.
