Does this makes sense to you?

It actually makes a change that the terrorist wasn't just shot and killed!

I'm glad - not for the reason your probably thinking but because we can now question this fools mentality and try to see where he's coming from (not to sympathise, but so we can try to see what makes them tick and prevent such attacks in future). And we can also apply punishment (jail or whatever the US seems fit). Death seems to be a cop-out for them these days (after all isn't this what they want? To die fighting in a cause they believe in)

Sad about Terence though - bit too trigger happy these US cops these days :(

You'd think they would realise now, but no. Stick five mice in a maze with electric shots and they soon find their way out. This tells me mice are smarter than Americans.

To be fair, they shot him at the same time as tasering him, whilst he had his hands on the car. And he was unarmed

I trust most americans to hold a balloon, let alone a gun.

When a policeman draws a gun and tells you to stop, you stop!

in the video, Mr Crutcher can be seen raising his arms in the air in the middle of the street. He stood beside his driver’s side window as several police officers stood behind him with their weapons raised. Seconds later a single shot was fired from the officer. He falls and his bloodied body lied limp beside his vehicle.

american police are all trigger happy psychopaths who shoot first then ask questions later, check out r/policebrutality and r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut are good places to get some update news on happenings.

Yes it does, terrorist in custody means information, some random guy killed, shame.

That is how they would be thinking, it is common sense really, sad about the other though.

I wouldnt be surprised if they were under orders to try and bring the terrorist in alive if there was a chance.

No one is interested in that. We can get a lot of information out of him, let me hope the interrogation is long and painful :D

Anyways i'm glad the resident apologist has started the thread so now we can talk about it properly. And now we can call it what it really is, not that anyone in the right mind wouldn't have guessed already

That's more than a bit hyperbolic don't you think? No doubt there are bad eggs but I firmly believe the primary reason for shootings are:
Contrasting levels of training from one force to another.
Insane gun laws.
High crime rates in deprived neighbourhoods.

To counter your videos of police brutality (and don't get me wrong, some shootings are straight up murder - although I'll never understand those that struggle when a gun is on them) there are also video compilations of cops themselves being shot during routine traffic stops. Dozens and dozens of them.

It's not surprising to me there are so many of these incidents. If gun ownership in the UK was like the US the exact same thing would be happening here with the distrust between the police and ethnic minorities.

This,

I imagine they go to a great deal of effort to take terror suspects alive (Even at greater personal risks to officers)

Ordinary criminals however are not worth risking your life over! ;) :p

what crime did Terence Crutcher commit?

I do not know!

Neither do I know why this "Routine Stop" ended up involving two squad cars with "Blues and Twos" and four Officers?

Nor do I know why his vehicle was stopped splayed across the centre line rather than on the shoulder?

Nor do I know why there was a press (?) chopper conveniently recording the entire episode?

Nor do I know anything about what his "History" with local Law enforcement might be?

I can certainly see how Officers might interpret his returning to the vehicle as an attempt to acquire "Something"!

I guess we will just have to wait and see!

yep he will speak on his actions and defend his actions... oh wait he can't

It should be innocent before proven guilty not guilty before proven innocent

regarding to the victim his car stalled / broken down
